Plus-sized influencer defends her body after being shamed by neighbors –

A new TikTok video that went viral is getting people talking about body positivity. It’s pushing back against the usual beauty standards and showing how important it is to love and accept yourself just the way you are.

The trending video features Gillian, a confident plus-size woman, boldly expressing herself and celebrating her unique identity, particularly in terms of fashion choices.

She said, “I’m plus-sized and I wear whatever I like at my pool. I don’t mind if it bothers my neighbors,” according to the Scottish Sun. The title of her video was: “What I wear in my pool that makes my neighbor feel uneasy.”

In her video, Gillian – who goes by the handle @spanxbeluga – shows off her unapologetic approach to poolside fashion, transitioning from a bright orange summer dress to a pale blue bikini.

Gillian often gets a lot of flak for what she wears, but she believes that everyone should be able to show their style without worrying about what others think. She wants to prove that fashion is a way for people to express themselves freely.

In response to a comment about modesty, where someone remarked that modesty was dead, Gillian humorously replied that it “should have died a long time ago.”

Gillian’s comments section is filled with positive vibes, as lots of people are complimenting her and admiring her confidence. Some even suggested that her neighbor’s criticism of her style could be because they are jealous.

Gillian addresses the situation with clarity, emphasizing that her goal is not to make people uncomfortable, but that she should also be allowed to wear whatever makes her feel happy and confident.

She explained, “I don’t want to make anyone feel uneasy. If people feel that way, it’s because I choose to wear what I like and I’m a larger person. That’s not my problem. I’m not going to hide my body for anyone. That’s just not me. I won’t feel ashamed of how I look.”

Gillian expressed that she feels great about herself and how she looks in the mirror. She mentioned, “I feel good in my own skin, and I choose my own clothes. Fashion is a way to show who I am, and I wear what makes me happy. No one in society can tell me otherwise.”
