Never-before-seen pictures of Princess Diana

Princess Diana, known as “The People’s Princess,” earned this title through her warmth and charitable work, becoming an important figure for the British public during difficult times. Her tragic death in Paris remains one of modern British history’s most shocking events, but her legacy endures, especially through her sons, William and Harry.

Despite her complicated life and constant media scrutiny, Diana was a devoted mother who aimed to provide William and Harry with a normal childhood. She often took them to theme parks and even snuck them out for fast food, much to the delight of her sons. Her former chef recalled a memorable moment when she canceled their lunch to take them to McDonald’s, emphasizing her desire to let them experience life as ordinary children.

Prince William has shared fond memories of car rides with his mother, particularly enjoying Tina Turner’s song “The Best,” which she played to ease their nerves about boarding school. He recalls singing along, creating a cherished family moment.

Diana wanted her sons to remain close throughout their lives, urging them to promise they would always be “best friends.” Despite their current estrangement, William and Harry honored her memory by unveiling a statue of her on what would have been her 60th birthday, a symbol of her lasting impact.

This year marked the 25th anniversary of Diana’s passing, and while William and Harry commemorated her separately, they both reflected on her love and legacy.
